Jornal Observador on "The Order of Landscape"

João Gomes da Silva's book is the irrefutable proof that it is this qualification — in many cases urgent — of our landscape, our architecture and our territory that deserves to be a priority.

João Gomes da Silva is not only a landscape architect with relevant work, he is also a university professor (he started as an assistant to Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles at the University of Évora) and an agile thinker about his craft. Regarding the continuous renewal of theories on landscape architecture, now in a more contemporary than modern way, as he himself claims, João Gomes da Silva, prudently, recognized somewhere that «we have been asked less to reflect on reality and more to mass production”.
